Where do the prices come from?
From the public online catalogues of the supermarkets (Mercadona, Consum), which we read every day. The price you see is the price of the online shop at the time of the last update.
Why are prices different in the Canary Islands?
The Canary Islands have their own indirect tax (IGIC instead of VAT) and different logistics, so many prices differ. For Mercadona, choose your zone in the header to see the right prices.
What does "honest discount" mean?
We compare the current price with the price history. If the price was raised shortly before a "drop", the discount is not real. This check appears once a product has enough history.
What is shrinkflation?
When the package gets smaller (fewer grams or millilitres) while the price stays the same or changes little. We compare the size and the price per kilo or litre to detect it.
How do price alerts work?
Create a free account, subscribe to a product and choose email or Telegram. We notify you when the price drops, and you can unsubscribe from any message with one click.
Can I buy products here?
No. We only show prices. To buy, follow the link to the official shop of the supermarket or visit a store.
